Our History.
Beeches Performance Ensemble is a Marching Band based in Great Barr, Birmingham, and was formed over 40 years ago. The band is made up of a marching brass line, a marching percussion section, a tuned percussion section and colourguard which includes a range of expressive dance and flag and equipment work. The combination of all these different sections is a display of music, colour and movement.
Each year Beeches Performance Ensemble discovers something new, with the learning and development of a new production. Our production is taken to the competition field from June to October, competing throughout the UK and in Europe as part of Marching Organisations BYBA and DCUK. Beeches Performance Ensemble also participates in supporting our local community through displays at local fetes, charity fundraising and corporate events.
Beeches Performance Ensemble is open to anyone over the age of eight, and for a monthly subscription, the band will provide full uniform, instrument and high class instruction and tuition. You do not need any previous musical ability as our highly experienced staff will teach you all you need to know. Anyone interested in joining please get in touch.
